As Senior Corporate Accountant you'll report directly to the controller and be a part of a dynamic team collaborating with various teams across multiple markets to ensureappropriate revenue recognition, project implementation and process improvements.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assists with maintaining general ledger, check registers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset schedule.
- Assist in payroll entry.
- Assist with corporate budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements.
- Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy.
- Perform variance analyses.
- Assist in implementing new accounting policies and procedures.
- Support the monthly accounting close process.
- Prepare yearly tax workbooks.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with a high work load volume while also knowing when to ask for help and ask questions when the information is unfamiliar.
- Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills is a must.
- Possesses personal and professional integrity.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Diligent and self-motivated.
- Strong analytical skills.
- A self-starter who leads by example and who is respected by all levels of employees.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.
