Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure employees are paid accurately and timely. Review, analyze, and input payroll exceptions to ensure accuracy. Compliance with all internal and external audit requirements. Compliance with multiple workgroups guidelines, applicable union contracts and company policies. Accurate and timely auditing and review of all applicable payroll processing reports for each pay cycle schedule.
- Compliance with all payroll schedules, payroll close process and changes
- Identify information and interpret data to be entered from pay documents requiring a basic understanding of entry procedures, computer requirements, and the application of necessary codes
- Review electronic exceptions to ensure all are processed correctly and on time
- Run sick reports and distribute to crew pay analysts
- Plan, develop timelines, address issues and solve problems
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and other contacts
- Work closely with all levels of contacts in reviewing, compiling and processing payroll data
- Respond to telephone and written inquiries from employees, management, union representatives and third party pay recipients in order to resolve issues and answer questions related to pay
- Respond to inquirers regarding pay discrepancies
- Review, analyze and update Instructor/Evaluator pay per the union contract
- Processes onboarding and offboarding requests for Instructors/Evaluators
- Compile, analyze and confirm reports for finance and senior management
- Daily communication with crew pay to resolve problems and/or issues
- Answer questions timely, accurately and effectively

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years payroll experience
- Ability to apply wage and time off work rules as outlined in Collective Bargaining Agreements
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service and oral/written communication skills
- Sufficient knowledge of payroll systems to answer general questions
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The salary for this position is $40,850.00 to $53,979.00 dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
