We are growing rapidly and are looking for a Senior Consultant - Cyber Risk (Vulnerability Management) to support our team.

We are looking for a senior Cyber Risk consultant to advise our customers on all facets of cybersecurity strategy. This role will advise, recommend, develop, and deploy client initiatives – specifically a vulnerability management (VM) program. This role will need to understand key governance requirements and best practices to ensure these established programs will meet the needs of an organization with a global footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all facets of the VM process (Discovery, Prioritization, Assessment, Reporting, Remediation, and Verification)
- Work closely with customers and all members of the team supporting one or all the following work activities
- Evaluate the potential business impact for loss of confidentiality, integrity, or availability based on system criticality
- Develop and deliver training on vulnerability management and incident response to customer stakeholders.
- Assess customer unique standards and requirements to develop a robust VM program.
- Guide customers in developing policies, processes, controls, and workflows to establish a VM program.
- Establish system monitoring processes, prioritizing risks based on their likelihood and potential impact
- Perform control gap analysis, identify, and escalate issues.
- Evaluate, recommend, and lead the deployment of tooling to support VM program.
- Gather requirements, identify patterns, look for trends or areas for improvement, propose data driven solutions; increase operational efficiency, decrease risk, optimizing compliance results.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with customers across multiple lines of business and senior levels of management, including C-Suite.
- Develop technical content for website updates, whitepapers, and blog posts that can be used both internally and by our clients to assist them in evaluating/building out VM programs
- Collaborate with delivery team members to drive customer satisfaction and meet project deliverables
- Ensure quality products and services are delivered on time and within allotted hours
- Establish and maintain positive collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Manage priorities, tasks, and assigned hours on projects to ensure budgetary targets are achieved.
- Provide mentorship to team members
- Interface with clients and other internal delivery team members through entire engagement, interacting will all levels of client organizations
- This is a customer facing role. Travel is expected to be limited in nature; however, you may be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of equivalent job experience
- 5+ years of professional services experience with vulnerability management programs
- 3+ years of program management experience
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and software
- Ability to be self-directed with little oversight
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and change while driving processes forward
Preferred Skills
- Broader Cyber Risk advisory background consulting cloud systems on Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Privacy, Incident Response, Identity/Access, Cloud Strategy, and/or performing enterprise business risk evaluations.
- Strong technical understanding of global cloud service providers
- Strong desire to grow a team of expert technical testers
- Ability to quickly assess new and leading-edge technologies and concepts
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and clients
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance, if needed.
