We're looking for an experienced and innovative compliance professional to join our team as a Senior Compliance Advisor. You will support our mission and enable responsible growth of our military consumer installment loan business by ensuring a sound Compliance Management System (CMS), managing the regulatory change management process, and overseeing execution of state lender licensing and other key compliance programs (such Privacy) consistent with regulatory expectations. This role will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor for colleagues in Compliance, Information Technology, business areas and other control functions. Candidates in Las Vegas, Nevada or Orlando, Florida are preferred, but mainland U.S.-based remote candidates in states in which Omni operates* may still apply.

As Compliance Advisor, you will:
· Provide comprehensive oversight of the Company's compliance management program and related governance framework consistent with legal requirements and the Company's risk appetite.
· Support implementation and management of a standardized Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool to facilitate oversight and optimal automation of compliance testing, compliance risk management, and the regulatory change management process across all products and services.
· Assist with enhancements to internal compliance policies/procedures, infrastructure, and controls, including as relate to applicable consumer protection laws (such as MLA, SCRA,, TILA (Reg Z), ECOA, FCRA (Reg B), GLBA/Privacy, Reg E, and other federal and state laws and regulations).
· Manage the comprehensive state and local licensing, registration and bond filing processes.
· Review and monitoring of advertising, marketing, social media, product and business development efforts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
· Stay abreast of operational changes and vendor relationships to help increase operational efficiencies and proactively identify regulatory risks and compliance concerns to pave the way for responsible growth.
· Maintain applicable laws and regulations inventory and help educate the business on new and changing laws and regulations to help ensure a culture of compliance and partnership that leads to pragmatic, viable solutions.
· Facilitate the governance and impact of regulatory change and compliance risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting across the Company.
· Support efficiency and effectiveness in organizational management of regulatory change and compliance risks.
· Assist with the development or revision of policies, procedures, product offerings and customer-facing documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and contractual obligations.
· Work with Compliance teammates to maintain an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and management.
· Contribute to an annual calendar of scheduled internal compliance testing for each product or service informed by appropriate risk assessments and manage process for suggested remediation and scheduled follow up on areas of opportunity; initiate autonomous compliance investigations as needed.
· Support regulatory compliance exams and audits; review external examination findings and coordinate responses with other Compliance teammates and business partners as needed.
· Help develop reporting for senior management, business leads, and the Board that enable enterprise-wide view of the regulatory landscape.
· Need flexibility to travel to various Omni business locations as necessary.
You'll need working knowledge of:
· Compliance Risk discipline, establishing Compliance Management System (CMS) framework and on-going program/processes in accordance with best practices
· Applicable consumer finance laws and regulations including FTC rules, Fair Lending, Reg B, Reg E, Reg Z, BSA/AML, UDAAP, FCRA, ECOA,TILA, FDCPA, GLBA/Privacy, MLA, SCRA as well as other federal and state requirements
· State lending licensing laws
· Organization and operations knowledge of a consumer lender and/or a bank
· Operational components and technology infrastructure as relate to consumer installment loans, performing and default loan servicing, payment processing, and pre-paid debit cards
· State and federal consumer financial regulatory guidance and exam management expectations
· Three lines of defense risk framework
· Effective leadership and management practices
· Google Suite products or comparable documentation and presentation products (e.g. MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio), compliance-related technology, and a focus on continuous improvements in a compliance risk management program consistent with risk tolerances and business needs
· Facilitate and manage diverse stakeholders through established or new processes
· Deliver clear and concise advice in oral and written communications
· Analyze and solve problems/technical issues, with strong attention to detail
· Influence risk balanced outcomes through cooperative discussion and persuasion
· Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal business, risk and functional partners
· Effectively work independently and in a team environment with all levels of personnel
· Maintain confidentiality of files and privileged information
· Manage competing priorities and adapt to various work environments and project schedules
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant military experience
At least 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or audit
At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients
Demonstrated working knowledge of standard compliance concepts, practices, policies and related state and federal laws
Detail orientated and strong analytical skills
Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Proven ability to interact with all levels of management
Preferred Qualifications:
·Master’s Degree
At least 5 years of experience in an advisory or consultant capacity
At least 7 years of experience in compliance, legal, or audit
Professional certifications(s) such as American Bankers Association Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Risk Professional (CRP) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or similar certifications

The salary range for this role is: $60,000 - $85,000. Assigned salary will vary based on location and experience of the applicant.
This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
