Job Summary:
This position is responsible for department-wide communications and marketing to Residents, Program Directors, Program Coordinators, and Faculty including management of the Resident list serve, GME website, newsletter, and social media. This position provides administrative support for the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Quality and Safety Programs, GME Residents/Faculty learning modules, and department surveys. This position must exercise personal accountability and discretion as the liaison with applicable university departments and multiple affiliated teaching hospitals for the purposes of program administration. Work involves implementation of relevant programs, tracking, analyzing, and reporting program data, and monitoring compliance with applicable requirements. This position also provides coordination for annual GME-sponsored events including but not limited to: Resident/Fellow Orientation, Quality and Patient Safety program events, Housestaff Appreciation Week events, others as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Communications Management: Collaborate with GME leadership team to build & Implement creative strategy.
Track & report the effectiveness of communications channels, monitor their reach & engagement, and identify opportunities for expanding reach and increasing engagement. Manage and track communications budget.
Management of GME Website
Program/Project Administration: GME Quality & Safety Program. Analyze trends and identify areas of improvement. Develop GME Dashboards for Accreditation & Compliance and Finance teams. Manage the GME Quality and Safety Incentive Program in collaboration with GME quality and Safety Program Director. Develop and maintain database to track incentive program.
GME Resident/Faculty Educational Modules. Oversees module compliance with organizational requirements (ACGME, University, or other). Oversight of module changes year to year. Collaborate with vendors and Education Subcommittee on modules.
Survey Management – Monthly Work Hours Survey. Other surveys include sleep/work room assessments, department provided education funds to residents, exiting residents, and attendance-VA Oath of Office Ceremony

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree with 4 years of professional related experience
Substitution : Experience working in related field/position may substitute for the Bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis, but not the specific experience.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project management certification or two (2) years of work experience in project management
Experience working with and interpreting electronic records data
Experience working at an academic medical center or in higher education
Experience with Sitefinity or other website design
Experience in administrative coordinator role
Experience with event coordination
Experience with managing communications for a business, including developing written and visual content
Experience with identifying and implementing best practices regarding communication practices, strategies, and tools.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to maintain accuracy with electronic records.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established as $58,320.00 - $69,637.00
The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
