The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the Technology team, and the business, leveraging data analytics and project management skills to drive business growth and operational efficiency. The key focus areas for this role are E-commerce, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and collaboration with the development teams and project manager to facilitate the timely completion of project initiatives.
This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, data analysis, and system requirements, alongside strong project management capabilities to lead large-scale projects and handle daily operational requests efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, execution, and improvement of action plans, applying up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and leveraging best practices to guide and advise others.
- Manage and support customer and business needs, aligning efforts to meet these needs effectively.
- Develop a comprehensive communication process to manage customer relationships and expectations, keeping stakeholders informed on project results and updates.
- Stay abreast of customer needs and strategies, employ formal and informal communication methods to relay updates and findings, and facilitate project meetings and presentations to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrate exceptional ability in creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, including system specifications, process flows, and data models, ensuring that documentation meets industry standards and is easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excel in developing comprehensive and detailed business and system requirements documents, leveraging advanced elicitation techniques to gather information from stakeholders and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Lead the requirements management process, including prioritization, traceability, and verification, to ensure that all requirements are addressed throughout the project lifecycle and are aligned with business objectives. Implement best practices for managing changes to requirements, minimizing project disruptions, and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Document and manage systems requirements using tools like Confluence and Jira, assessing process and system inefficiencies to recommend improvements.
- Lead and participate in multiple projects, ensuring the efficient and on-time delivery of project Requirement Development & Requirements Management tasks and milestones, while managing project scope and resources effectively.
- Conduct complex business and systems process analysis and design, focusing on quality improvement and data management to recommend process re-engineering and system integrations.
- Serve as a key liaison between Technology and the Business, gathering business requirements for system modifications, enhancements, and implementations.
- Develop and execute comprehensive acceptance test plans to ensure system conversions, upgrades, and enhancements meet business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects and operational tasks.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, capable of effectively negotiating and influencing across all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of business indices, fundamentals, analytical data, and returns level data.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, and familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, provide strategic direction, and drive issue resolution and process improvements.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability to changing demands and priorities, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
