EPIC Loan Systems is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to champion growth of our best-in-class lending management solution.
As our Business Analyst, you will be using your skills and expertise to problem solve and architect challenging, new solutions for our software. You'll be responsible for using your knowledge in alternative finance while researching, planning, and designing software specifications for our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Business Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
- Identify and define business requirements by quickly understanding business and technical requirements based on the input and opinions from high profile clients, business partners, and senior management.
- Lead and manage by influencing projects through development, testing and deployment to production by aligning respective teams, setting expectations, and addressing requirement related questions.
- Work on process flows, screen designs, and provide storyboarding to support system design.
- Articulate, communicate, and coordinate with UI/UX, Full Stack Developers, QA Engineers, and SME on design, development and implementation.
- Work closely with the senior management to create and maintain product roadmaps, epics, user stories, use cases, and other product documentation.
- Write queries using SQL and compile data, and reports as needed.
- Review test cases/test plan to make sure all scenarios are covered and that the content, layout, usability, accessibility, and functional testing has been performed to the necessary level to proceed with deployment to production.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong requirements elicitation skills - including the facilitation of client workshops.
- Strong understanding of Web APIs and Services.
- Experienced in authoring and maintaining Agile Backlogs - from Epics/Themes to individual User Stories and their acceptance criteria.
- Results driven, personal drive, and pro-activeness personally and for the team.
- Be highly motivated, willing to learn and be flexible with work timings to collaborate closely with teams in Mexico and Pakistan.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, development teams, internal stakeholders, and senior management.
- Diligent attention to detail and technical intuition.
