This role supports our specialist investment managers Dreyfus, our leading liquidity solutions provider with a comprehensive array of cash and short duration strategies and Mellon, a global leader in index management dedicated to precision and client partnership.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Graphic Designer at the Senior Associate level to join Dreyfus and Mellon. This role can be located in Pittsburgh, PA or Boston, MA office, and this is hybrid working position.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Lead design projects in support of strategic initiatives, creating compelling, digestible visual storytelling solutions out of highly technical data.
• Design deliverables across a broad range of mediums to tell a cohesive message, achieve the business partners’ goals, and communicate to clients and an enterprise-wide audience.
• Build visual narrative solutions, driving consistency in presentation quality and impact, in the form of graphics and other creative materials across a wide array of media.
• Collaborate with peers to create outstanding graphics and visual content that drives and aligns to strategic initiatives and corporate brand guidelines.
• Consistently apply brand guidelines across web, social, and other digital platforms that reinforces our status and reputation, and is appropriate for our various audiences.
• Provide expertise and awareness of the latest trends to create engaging, informative visuals that capture viewers’ attention and effectively communicate key ideas.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• BFA or BA in Graphic Design or related design discipline, with 5+ years’ experience.
• Marketing, consulting and/or financial industry experience.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, especially, but not limited to: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, PowerPoint, Excel, Acrobat.
• Experience with designing business presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Excels at data visualization
• A mix of creative enthusiasm, analytical thinking, and exemplary communication skills.
• A resourceful, self-sufficient, effective problem solver and trouble-shooter in the face of ambiguity.
• Project management skills including the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate within the team and across the broader enterprise.
• Attention to detail and personal accountability.
• Web design experience a plus
• Portfolio required
