Form of work CPA firm located in Cranberry Township is looking for a full time Senior Tax Accountant / CPA for our growing public accounting practice. The ideal candidate will be a team player with recent public accounting experience who is seeking a variety of accounting and tax responsibilities.
Job Description and Duties:
Prepare / review all types of tax returns including individual, partnership, corporation (C-corporations & S-corporations), estate, fiduciary and inheritance tax returns.
Identify and develop tax planning opportunities and solutions for business and individual clients on federal and multi-state tax matters
Manage tax research projects and effectively communicate findings and recommendations
Prepare tax memorandums and tax communications
Monitor tax law changes on a federal and multi-state level and prepare timely communications related to recent tax law changes
Assist with various tax audits and tax notices
Prepare tax presentations for clients and/or continuing education
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required /Master's degree in taxation preferred / CPA license
5 + years of recent public accounting experience with primary responsibilities or equivalent
Strong tax research, organizational, communication and technical skills required
Ability to multitask and prioritize while completing work timely and accurately
Extensive knowledge of fiduciary returns is a plus
