Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.
What will I be doing?
The Senior Analyst, Hotel Performance Analytics will provide technical support and solution administration for hotels and for Hotel Performance Analytics Managers (HPAs). You will support a portfolio of hotels, varying in size and complexity as either the primary labor authority or labor support for an HPA. You directly interact with hotel management and often with corporate leadership teams in partnership with the region's main HPA!
You may also be asked to solve problems related to routine data and service needs. Apply Microsoft Office 365 tools, PropPlan financial system, and Labor Management System (LMS) to produce key metrics used by hotels, HPAs & regional leadership to support efficient labor management in the hotels. Produce standard reporting packages and develop improvements to reporting to streamline workload and improve products and services offered by Workforce Performance.
The Senior Analyst may respond to requests for information from several different members of the WP team on an as-needed basis. The Sr Analyst may be called upon to fill in and handle some of the tasks of an HPA, with supervision. As part of the WP team, champion and encourage standard methodologies in labor management through the exposure of opportunities and promotion of innovative solutions.
More specifically, you will:
- Work closely with hotel General Managers, Directors of Finance & the Workforce Performance Team to analyze data to improve financial performance, team member engagement, and guest satisfaction
- Plan, communicate, and implement financial strategies for property labor management and conduct routine and ad-hoc analysis of labor metrics
- Assist with the forecasting and budgeting processes
- Access Hilton's Budgeting and Forecasting system (PROPPLAN), the Property Management system (OnQ), Operations Audit (OA), and Hilton's guest Satisfactory And Loyalty Tracker (SALT) for hotels to collect and analyze pertinent data.
- Establish and supervise Labor Management procedures and processes
- Support Time & Attendance implementations and sustainability of consistency standards
- Run weekly labor meeting analytics and monitor utilization
- Maintain & report on labor standard alignment with budget and current business operations as well as the Hilton Global LMS Standards Grid
- Ensure alignment to SOPs aimed to mitigate payroll inflation
- Supervise and report on compliance with corporate reporting directives, methodologies, and deadlines
- Analyze and compare Labor Management programs to corporate benchmarks as well as industry standards using HotStats and internal PropPlan data
- Collaborate with the team to develop resource plans and complete new Labor Management Systems, T&A systems, and other technology implementations

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience in hospitality operations, finance, or related work that supports time and labor management
- Two (2) years of specialized experience creating sophisticated financial and analytical data
- Expert in Excel and proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
- Travel as required, estimated 10% but may exceed 25% when vital
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- BA/ BS Bachelor's Degree, Master of Business Administration (MBA), or other related advanced degree
- Four (4) years of hospitality experience
- LMS administrator experience (UniFocus, Kronos, or other) and/or Time & Attendance administrator experience (ADP TimeSaver, Kronos, UniFocus T&A, or other)
