The Senior Accounting, Business Analyst will play an integral role working with both Global Financial Reporting (GFR) and Technology stakeholders to collect requirements, collaborate on design, test, and deploy end-to-end Accounting solutions. This hands on position must understand complex business processes, systems, data, and accounting to effectively translate requirements for Technology partners to deliver quality, scalable financial solutions that meet our customers’ needs. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and able to use creative problem-solving skills to manage simultaneous projects from project inception through project delivery.
What you'll do:
- Independently gain an understanding of current processes and elicit detailed business requirements from Accounting and potentially other financial stakeholders
- Liaise between GFR and Technology teams, effectively translating requirements and use cases to Technology partners to ensure proper solutions, including financial controls, are built and tested, before being deployed.
- Collaborate closely with Accounting stakeholders and peer product managers to help define product strategy and product vision that meets accounting needs
- Help facilitate trade-off decisions with Accounting and Technology that balance investment, schedule, and customer benefit.
- Facilitate test planning, execution and troubleshooting between Accounting and Technology teams.
- Integrate timelines and milestones across projects, identifying areas of synergy or dependency and evaluating the progress of projects and adjusting to keep the project on track.
Who you are:
- BA in Accounting, Business Administration or related area required.
- 5+ years general/revenue accounting experience, preferably in a growing high-tech company
- PMP Preferred
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
