AM Botte Mechanical, located in Sewell, NJ, is looking for an Experienced Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager with experience managing accounting operations, maintaining adequate systems of accounting records, and establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. Job Description
1. Manage all aspects of accounting.
a. Billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses.
2. Maintain and improve documented system of accounting policies and operations.
3. Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
4. Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
5. Prepares budgets and forecasts by:
a. Collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data.
b. Updating dynamic forecasts and budgets based on changes in assumptions.
c. Comparing budgeted and forecasted to actual and giving interpretation of the reasons for the differences.
6. Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
7. Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
8. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
9. Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
10. Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
11. Work with external Consultants / Fractional CFO to accomplish all the above.
Qualifications
· Self-motivated, willing and able to think critically, interact with Colleagues and Clients, and work as part of a Team.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
· CPA is a plus
· A combination of experience in Public Accounting / Industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
