JobSummary:

As a Senior Accountant at Sai CPA Services, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing various accounting and financial tasks for our clients. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will work closely with clients and team members to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient delivery of services.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide insights to clients for strategic decision-making.

2. Tax Planning and Compliance: Prepare and review complex tax returns - 1040, 1120’s 1065. 990’s etc., ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

3. Audit Support: Assist in audit preparations and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.

4. Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

5. Payroll Processing: Regularly update and maintain employee payroll processing with multi-state registrations.

6. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive financial guidance and addressing their specific needs.

7. Data Analysis: Utilize spreadsheets to monitor and analyze accounting data, preparing insightful financial reports.

8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the firm.

9. Supervision and Training: Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and professional development.

10. Advisory Services: Provide financial advice and strategic recommendations to clients, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.

Job Specifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA / CPA certification is required.

2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance, taxation & payroll.

3. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, payroll, quickbook, tax regulations, and financial reporting.

4. Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

6. The candidate must have experience with IRS and State Audits
