Senior Accountant - Pharmaceuticals (Raleigh, Nc)

LHH has partnered with a leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry in the greater Raleigh market and they are seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Corporate Finance and Accounting team. This position offers the right candidate a tremendous opportunity to join a growing company. This position is responsible for using financial management knowledge to perform cost analyses, prepare budgets and evaluate current accounting trends. An ideal candidate is self-sufficient and simultaneously excels as part of a team.
Experience/Education

• 2-3 years of experience, including exposure to the financial reporting and consolidations process
• Lead and coordinate forecasts, annual budget, and strategic plans as well as provide month end analysis by establishing deliverable timelines, financial models, and metrics to support and analyze initiatives
• Monitor key business targets including revenue, Contribution Margin, SG&A and EBITDA as well as asset financial metrics including ROA, ROI, IRR.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management account
• Provide financial analysis as required
• Provide key financial inputs for one-year planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.) a plus
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is highly preferred
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and basic computer functions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
