The Senior Accountant will support a client of JLL in recording and overseeing spend records for all project management costs. Responsibilities will include managing day to day spend, helping the client understand costs, monthly close and monthly reporting.
The successful candidate will:
Preparation and analysis of monthly Financial Reports
Management of accounting records within the ERP system
Manage daily activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing, credit and collections, inventory, fixed asset record and cost accounting.
Perform month end close activities: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, etc.
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
Preferred education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Required skills and experience include:
5+ years of accounting experience
Microsoft Excel expertise
Experience in a project management environment helpful
Experience in a government contracting environment helpful
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Financial analytical skills and critical thinking
Proficiency with all Microsoft applications
The ability and eagerness to develop new competencies
