As the Senior AP Lead, you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable team and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. You will also be responsible for leading process improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Manage the AP team and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve vendor and supplier issues
Monitor and maintain accurate Accounts Payable records and reports
Provide training and coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively
Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Experience with large ERP systems and AP automation tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels of the organization
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and optimization
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
