Position Description: ZemiTek is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. This role involves overseeing payroll operations, reconciling payroll and leave, managing accounts payable, conducting account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with monthly billing processes, preparing for audits, and undertaking additional accounting tasks as needed.

Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range:Starting at $100,000
- Payroll Processing – ADP and Deltek export and import processing.
- Payroll and Leave Reconciliations for semi-monthly payroll
- Accounts Payable – review invoices, get appropriate approvals, enter, and post in Deltek.
- Reconcile company credit cards.
- Assist with monthly customer billing/invoicing.
- Monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations as assigned.
- Assist other finance team members as needed.
- Respond to employee emails related to payroll issues or vendor invoices, payments, and other such inquiries.
- Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
- Assist in annual financial statements audit.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in accounting experience; OR a High School Diploma and nine (9) years of relevant work experience accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of Deltek/Costpoint
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and stress management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
