We are seeking a detail-oriented, metrics-driven Senior Accountantto join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team environment and will enjoy the opportunity to work with an industry leader that offers excellent benefits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Working knowledge of financial reporting
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, food and beverage experience preferred, real estate experience is a plus.
- Comprehension of accounting fundamentals including journal entries, general ledger postings, bank reconciliations
- Should have a clear understanding of accrual processing accounting and how accrual and cash accounting are different.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel; QuickBooks experience is preferred, Yardi is a plus.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs monthly close process including bank reconciliations, account analyses and financial reports as assigned.
- Preparing weekly reports for the General Manager as well as monthly/quarterly and annual financial reports
- Monitors and projects daily cash flow; reviews and executes all checks and deposits and reviews daily cash receipts and disbursements.
- Coordinate and prepare Payroll and assist in human resources as directed.
- Assist with annual budget preparation and other property reporting.
- Assist with preparation of documents for annual tax filings.
- Record yearend tax entries; depreciation and amortization of fixed assets and leasing commissions
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Hybrid Position: 1-2 days in office

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
