Summary:
Our client a stable and rapidly growing company is looking for a strong Senior Accountant. You will be a critical member of the Accounting and Finance team providing finance and accounting support to every department in the company.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for month-end close
· Hands-on with JE entries, bank, GL, A/P, and A/R
· Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Reconcile and maintain a detailed backup for all balance sheet accounts
· Maintain cost and inventory valuation.
· Perform variance analysis. Drive to resolution and correction as needed.
· Active involvement in ERP implementation.
· Match and resolve discrepancies between POs, vendor invoices, and product receipts.
· Continuous reconciliation of company and vendor sub-ledgers.
· Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
· Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

Skills:
· Exceptional at reconciling and maintaining detailed schedules.
· Excellent MS Excel skills
· Solid Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint skills
· Microsoft Teams, SharePoint
Education/Experience/Certifications:
· 5+ years of professional work experience
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance
· Experience working in the manufacturing industry
