Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of financial tasks, including financial reporting and general ledger maintenance for multiple clients.
- First level reviewer of general ledger workpapers.
- Responsible for managing multiple books of monthly/accounting client.
- Managing and coaching staff accountants.
- Prepare or review payroll/payroll tax filings, sales and use tax returns, Form 1099’s and various business licenses.
- Ability to research tax notices and draft responses for managers to review.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure client satisfaction and effective project execution.
- Utilize your critical thinking skills to address complex accounting challenges.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial processes.
- Demonstrate self-reliance and effectiveness with utmost integrity while working remotely.
- Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality, integrity, and personal conduct.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting and QBO experience.
- A minimum of 5 years’ public accounting experience.
- CPA or EA, a plus.
- QBO Certification a plus.
- E-commerce, Etsy, and online business experience a plus.
- Understanding of business tax regulations and compliance a plus with the ability to research state and local business filing requirements.
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions.
- Strong understanding of QuickBooks Online (QBO) and integration with other accounting software (i.e. Shopify, Bill.com, Botkeeper, Divvy, PayPal, Expensify, TaxJar, Avalera, Stripe, etc.).
- Excellent time management, time-tracking, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $70,657.98 - $85,093.48 per year
