Description
The DEA Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable DEA and EHS regulations, developing and implementing DEA and EHS programs, and promoting a culture of safety and compliance within the organization for both Chantilly and Manassas, VA Sites.
- Develop and maintain an DEA compliance program that ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, standards and guidelines.
- Implement and oversee DEA policies and procedures, including training programs and recordkeeping systems.
- Conduct DEA risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and compliance gaps.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified DEA and EHS issues.
- Manage the DEA audit program to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure DEA requirements are integrated into business processes.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and stakeholders to stay current with DEA regulations and industry best practices.
- Develop and deliver DEA training to employees, contractors, and visitors to promote safety and compliance.
- Provide DEA expertise and guidance to senior management and business units.
- Develop and manage DEA budgets and resources.
Requirements
Minimum Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DEA compliance management in a GMP regulated environment within the pharma industry required
- Certifications or additional training in DEA and EHS compliance management may also be preferred.
