Form of workPRIMARY FUNCTIONS WILL INCLUDE:
- Evaluate, monitor, and report to ensure data collection accuracy.
- Review detailed account analysis related to job costing.
- Prepare, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly related to job costing functions.
- Conduct research and perform analytical studies regarding cost analyses, accuracy, and profitability.
- Review and maintain work center and labor rate schedules.
- Assist in month-end closing, review costing, and make adjustments, as necessary.
- Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls related to costing.
- Ensure timely submission, accuracy, and validity of job cost reporting to management.
- Maintain daily export of costing data from the shop floor system into the ERP system.
- Conduct daily Work in Process (WIP) calculation.
- Collaborate with the Quality department and other process improvement teams to provide analysis for cost saving/lean opportunities.
- Cross train with the accounting department to provide support and back up when needed.
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience.
- Ability to critically analyze data and determine its validity.
- Ability to analyze multiple variables, reconcile them between multiple computer systems and analyze and correct associated product costs as they move through the manufacturing and distribution cycle.
- Ability to use advanced spreadsheet functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Strong team and collaboration skills.
