Segment Account Manager - Foodservice
This position is located in our West Region, with an ideal candidate working from their home office and already living in the Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, or Las Vegas metro areas.
The Segment Account Manager is accountable for prospecting, identifying, targeting, and selling segment-specific key operator opportunities within an assigned geographic area. The primary goals are to optimize sales volume and profitability from relevant markets for the organization's products, and to support and maximize the company's strategic partnerships within key segments and non-commercial accounts.
A typical day will start with the Segment Account Manager having put together 2-3 sales appointments with Key Operators in the Market. The SAM will have researched the needs of the operator, the goals of BAF Non-Commercial, and have a bag ready to show, sample, and review BAF Foods to the Operator. They will plan their sales calls to be available to meet, assess, and discuss how BAF items will work with the Operators' menu needs. At the end of the day, it is expected that the SAM will input their Sales Call results into CRM, updating their Regional Sales Manager and reporting successes, opportunities, and next steps.

Competitive Compensation: The expected pay range for this role is between $90,000-$105,000, although a final salary offer is dependent on the candidate's experience level and skill set. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position participates in a sales incentive plan and offers a vehicle reimbursement program.
We're Looking for Someone With (must-haves):
  • 5-10 years of related experience, with at least 3 years selling to restaurants, hospitals, universities, and K-12 school segments (preferably food)
  • Sales experience in foodservice, partnering with brokers and distributors
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Able to travel up to 70% of the time
  • Must already be located within the required region and target metro areas
