Currently, we need an experienced Access Control tech.
Ideally, we are searching for candidates with certifications such as with Siemon and Bicsi.
Access control tech – we need someone familiar with the installation of Access Control systems and handling other door related work.
Schedule:
Full-time - generally Monday-Friday, 7am-5:30pm –
Currently working on priority jobs with deadlines we need to meet so everyone is now working 60-hour weeks that will run through at least October, maybe for the rest of the year.
General idea of the work:
- Install and program Access Control systems such as card reader badges – knowledge of Premisys and Lenel is a plus
- Installing IP-based security cameras and general maintenance
- Install, program, and test functionality for door position sensors, electrified locks, alarm horns, digital clocks, request-to-exit buttons, and other devices/equipment.
Plus to have:
- Install and program Access Control systems such as card reader badges – knowledge of Premisys and Lenel is a plus
- Installing IP-based security cameras and general maintenance
Candidates must have their own basic hand tools, a valid driver's license, transportation, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

- Navigate floor plans within the buildings

- Work in unison with the foremen and project managers to accomplish goals

NOTE: Our location is currently a construction zone and we work around other contractor companies. We currently have around 20 people in the field, but we can be working around up to 200 people in certain areas, as all the contractors are performing their various phases of the project around one another. Therefore, having commercial and industrial experience is preferable, or at least readiness for a challenge.
We currently work in one location as we have a strong relationship with our client and provide several services for them. We have been in business for over 25 years, expanded the business a few years ago, and we have been growing ever since. We handle part of the designing, installation, maintenance, and consulting on a plant site that is in the midst of an expansion so we are not slowing down anytime soon.
