As a Security Team Lead you will perform various leadership, asset protection, and safety functions, to include training, investigations, report reviews, audit processes, compliance, operation of security systems/equipment, and ensuring a safe and secure environment.Perform various leadership, asset protection, and safety functions, to include training, investigations, report reviews, audit processes, compliance, operation of security systems/equipment, and ensuring a safe and secure environment. Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for people and property in and around the distribution center, trailer yard and offices.
- Enforce building access guidelines.
- Train and coach the team to successfully fulfill their duties.
- Interact with Burlington associates, executives and vendor representatives in a professional manner, providing quick attention to answer questions and find solutions.
- Use and maintain a working camera surveillance system completing necessary testing, updates and record keeping.
- Administer building card access system, create badges, grant accesses and conduct audits on access points as needed
- Audit yard reports and assist with end of month audits.
- Conduct investigations and accurately document findings.
- Assist in fire drills, safety inspections, and other tasks designed to maintain a high level of protection and safety.
- Provide support to the AP Supervisor by monitoring and addressing team’s performance.
Licenses/Certification/Registration:
- Valid driver’s license for use of company security vehicle
Experience:
- 1-3 years of asset protection or related experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional organization skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work activity based on need.
- Strong in interpersonal interaction, with a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Applies attention to detail, takes initiative, and has follow-through skills.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Yard Management, and Outlook
