As a Facilities Security Manager, you will be primary provider of communications to staff, helps manage the training and development of staff, assists in career development planning including responsibility for the motivation of staff to meet objectives, formal performance evaluation of staff and is accountable for accomplishment of group objectives.
Specifically in this role you can expect to:
- Manages and Monitors the development, implementation and operation of security related programs, processes, personnel, costs and data to mitigate risks and threats.
- Creates, manages and analyzes security procedures that are vital to access control, emergency management, visitor management.
- Conducts physical security assessments, accomplishes emergency management planning and response to ensure effective response. Operates and monitors equipment and systems.
- Develops physical security controls, performs patrols, participates in facility level security assessments associated with threats, alarms, WPV, intrusions, Hazmat, etc.
- Trains personnel on security awareness, Observes, collects, reports on security related incidents. Manages, implements programs designed to supplement access control and prevent unauthorized access.
- Oversees, reviews, participates and manages programs designed to support foreign travelers and visitors.
A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills and have:
- Extensive experience in Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
- Extensive experience in Conflict Management: Knowledge of managing conflicts; ability to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level.
- Extensive experience in Emergency Management: Knowledge of emergency management tools and techniques in a manufacturing organization; ability to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from an emergency.
- Extensive experience in Plant Security: Knowledge of the required tools, techniques and technologies associated with plant security; ability to prevent and address theft of assets, theft of information, vandalism, sabotage and other threats to a manufacturing facility.

- Experience in personnel management and effective communication.
- development of management presentations
- Experience in use of Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, power point, etc.)
- 4-year degree in a related field OR extensive experience in Plant Security
- Valid driver's license
- Availability to travel to local facilities in the Sanford, NC area
