Key Responsibilities:
Specific tasks for the Security Supervisor include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide leadership and supervision to security personnel, ensuring effective team performance.
- Develop and implement security plans, policies, and procedures for the organization.
- Create and manage security staff schedules to ensure proper coverage.
- Conduct training programs for security personnel on relevant procedures, protocols, and emergency response.
- Coordinate and oversee responses to security incidents, emergencies, and breaches.
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems for unusual activities or potential threats.
- Administer access control systems and ensure proper identification and authorization of individuals entering secured areas.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the premises to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
- Generate and submit security reports to management, detailing incidents, activities, and security concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining a secure environment.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Assess potential security risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of security equipment, such as alarms and surveillance systems.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance among staff and visitors.
- Conduct investigations into security-related incidents, gather evidence, and report findings.
- Develop and implement crisis management plans for various security scenarios.
- Stay updated on advancements in security technology and recommend upgrades or improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and integrate security measures into overall operations.
- Manage relationships with external security service providers and vendors.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
- Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and personnel assignments.
Education/Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, or serving in the U.S. military
- Experience interacting with diverse personalities and adept problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude is crucial for close collaboration with internal partners, fostering good rapport
- Teamwork experience is essential for supporting varied duties in the role
- Familiarity with security cameras and access control software as standard daily components
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Professional interaction skills with a diverse range of personalities
- Capability to function effectively and professionally with minimal security leadership and oversight
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Nice-to-haves: knowledge of security hardware maintenance and troubleshooting, industry certifications like CPR, AED, and basic life support.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 per month
