Job responsibilities: Responsible for the supervision of transportation services, including both the operations and maintenance of center or government owned vehicles in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential Functions:
Assist the manager, safety and security in the preparation of the departmental budgets; monitor and control expenditures.
Coordinate center provided transportation for student trips (e.g., medical appointments, clothes trips, work experience, educational and recreation field trips, and orientation trips) and center staff trips as appropriate to conduct center business.
Ensure proper staff scheduling, vehicle dispatching and system evaluation to meet center requirements.
Maintain accurate records to support vehicle usage, milage, gas consumption, etc.
Ensure the provision of proper safety equipment and accident reporting information.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years related experience, one of which should be a supervisory capacity.
Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) passenger endorsement with an acceptable driving record.
