What will you do?
- Supports an enterprise corporate security program which includes physical security and life safety.
- Leads in the management and evaluation of safety, risk, emergency, crisis management programs.
- Develop, review, deploy, and constantly improve all security and emergency response plans/procedures for all facilities.
- Coordinates with HR to direct an enterprise wide program focused on preventing, tracking and responding to instances of workplace violence.
- Provides detailed evaluation of and advice/support concerning national events in regard to security aspects (event venue, possible security measures for participants, etc.).
- Leads an enterprise/all employee location intelligence data and travel safety/global medical services program to include continuing education and training.
- Partners with HR to create, deploy and maintain an all employee safety and security training curriculum and continuing education.
- Coordinate security related matters and collaborate with the Policy Committee to develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Plan and execute a command and control response for life safety and physical security incidents; maintain 24-hour availability for such events; integrate response plans to complement business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Build proactive relationships with local emergency responders at all Holman sites to align company needs and consult on local best practices as to align with locality’s emergency procedures.
- Support all strategies and objectives of the Corporate Security Program to include the implementation and maintenance of robust surveillance and access control measures.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, criminal justice, emergency and disaster management, security, or a closely-related field
- Minimum 5 years’ full-time experience in a law enforcement or criminal justice capacity, corporate or campus security, or corporate or Government emergency management. Former Federal, State or local law enforcement or emergency management experience is helpful. Experience creating and managing an international safety organization is helpful.
- Motivated self-starter that is able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with implementation and monitoring of safety and security programs in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of the company’s Life Safety strategies and emergency plans.
- Knowledge of services and processes used to assist company in preparing, warning, and responding to a security incident or life safety event.
- Strong project management skills.
