One Tech Engineering is searching for a Security Performance Analyst for a position located in Omaha, Nebraska. The Security Performance Analyst will be responsible for the overall development, support and maintenance of the Technology & Security (TS) Business Unit’s performance management processes.
The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent business experience.
Responsibilities of the Security Performance Analyst:
  • Lead cross-functional Technology and Security teams to design, develop, and integrate TS performance management processes, procedures and metrics utilizing best practices and industry-standard frameworks.
  • Establish process-related policies, standards, governance, and methodologies to enable the TS Business Unit to adopt performance process management culture.
  • Responsible for designing and publishing TS Business Unit’s scorecard and performance dashboard, identifying negative trends, performing root cause analysis, developing remediation plans, and retesting of KPIs.
  • Work closely with the TS management to ensure that a robust process governance structure is in place to cover every process aspect, including data and metrics, are deployed across TS functions.
  • Facilitate financial planning, reporting and day-to-day financial processes for the TS business unit.
  • Act as an internal consultant to the Vice President and CIO - Technology & Security.
  • Analyze the operations and remediation planning for Service Level Agreements that TS has in its production service catalog. Development of SLAs will be a future effort.
  • Assist Security, Risk & Governance (GRG) team with coordination and support to close out of Technology and Security audit responses, legal, and regulatory requests as well as any other internal or external data requests.
  • Identify and develop IT benchmarking studies, including identifying external benchmarking studies (such as through Deloitte and other organizations) that would be valuable for TS to participate in.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with TS management, stakeholders and process owners to review, revise and finalize process metrics/key performance indicators.
  • Drive resolution on integration issues between the various processes working together with process owners.
  • Enhance Technology and Security processes to optimize the fit between people, process and technology (tool).
  • Collect, analyze, update, and publish TS scorecards, operational objectives and goals.
  • Engage with process owners/ stakeholders to conduct root cause analysis and action plans for metrics in remediation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of variations / deviations from high priority process, defined metrics and service levels.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to the TS leadership and management with the ability to translate detailed analysis into executive level information for decision making.
  • Gathers data from various source systems for comprehensive, summarized views of key operational and financial metrics, while providing s TS Business Unit with consistent reporting of the details behind the metrics.
  • Collaborate with TS Management to develop data relationships, data analysis processes that map to workflows and associated key performance indicators, reporting formats and recommendations to the presentation of data including trending.
  • Conduct reviews with TS Leadership for quality and usefulness of reporting and identification of gaps to be addressed.
Requirements of the Security Performance Analyst:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent business experience.
  • 5 + years of project/program management, process management and/or functional planning experience.
  • 3 + years hands-on experience developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/ metrics and process to report/ analyze results for these metrics.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting information to management and leadership.
  • Demonstrated business acumen in communicating and collaborating at various levels in an organization.
  • Advanced user of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint). Tool usage and expertise that includes Excel Pivot tables, Tableau and Power of BI or other tools related to queries and data manipulation.
  • Experience performing data analysis for operational and senior management. Knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, systems and reporting including understanding of the financial dynamics of a business.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to present complex concepts and make them understood at all levels of the organization, both to technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders.
  • Must have strong relationship building, influencing and consultation skills, able to establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and clients.
  • Display willingness to understand, bring together and bridge diverse points of view to represent status correctly.
  • Highly analytical individual with a keen eye for details.
Desired:
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Prior experience managing the performance of a technology organization operational budget and capital budget.
  • Experience with Tableau reporting, scorecard and dashboard development or similar tool. Must be able to educate managers and project managers on how to use data.
  • Experience managing and improving service processes preferably in ITIL and COBIT framework.
