Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
JOB SUMMARY: Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) a leading security firm is seeking a strong candidate to join the public safety team at a major university in Philadelphia. The position reports to the head of public safety and performs in a lead capacity. The person will provide strategic direction and progressive leadership to public safety officers. Guides staff in the effective, efficient, and ethical operation of their security functions. Build a cohesive team dedicated to continuous improvement of operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepares and coordinates staffing schedules for assigned portfolio; acts to ensure that scheduling is handled effectively and in an efficient manner; reviews officer activity to verify post orders and directives have been satisfactorily followed.
- Analyzes quality, financial, and other performance indicators with the objective of providing the highest level of service within budgetary constraints.
- Ensures that corrective action processes are administered so that risks are adequately identified and protection requirements for University and DSS are met.
- Ensures correct, consistent administration of University and DSS service Agreement.
- Maintains a positive, professional work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
- Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from DSS management on disciplinary course of action(s).
- Assigns or provides training to Security Officers and other DSS personnel, reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
- Submits payroll and personnel information to the designated DSS Department.
- Efficiently and effectively manages the deployment and service delivery of Supervisors, Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other DSS personnel at the University.

Education and Equivalent Experience:
- Prefer a bachelor's degree, will accept equivalent or professional experience on a case-by-case basis.
- Ten years of progressively responsible experience in security or equivalent field.
- Demonstrated knowledge in a similar security leadership role, scheduling and managing personnel.
- Proven skills in security operation planning, controlling expenses, and human resources administration.
