Job Description:
DET Security Analyst I act as a Division Security Officer, determining whether security protocols and procedures are followed, when security changes are needed, and whether data and facilities are being adequately protected. This position also supports the DET Security Call Centre and handles granting and revocation of access rights to DET systems. They also participate in planning meetings to determine whether system modifications are needed in response to policy changes, user requests and other events,
and lead the development, testing and implementation of the resulting modifications. This position provides technical assistance to state staff and local users. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of IT security practices, program policy and operations, systems design, user acceptance testing, and systems implementation and follow up.

Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation Application Development and Support of CICS/DB2/COBOL/JCL
Mainframe Systems: Using Changeman, CNTL-M or the like Web and client-server application development experience, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support
Mainframe Application Experience (SQL/COBOL/CICS/JCL/DB2) Including Ability to identify and Create Test Data; Creating and Modifying Files and JCL in order to test the accuracy of System Modifications
Knowledge of Electronic Document Management, BPM, Workflow, and
Scan/Capture software using products such as eDocs and Kofax Total Agility.
Analysis and Design of Mainframe Applications
Evaluate and recommend programming languages, design tools and applications
Understanding of project management methodologies and experience with 'agile'
