We offer a unique and simplified approach to rapidly develop, demonstrate, and assess prototypes that address a range of operational and installation needs, from individual Warfighter technology up to large-scale installation projects. NSTXL delivers technology to the Warfighter by serving as a one-stop shop to match government requirements with innovative private-sector and academic solutions.
Each of our OTAs is a distinct member-based not-for-profit with its own membership that is managed and serviced by NSTXL. Currently, our OTAs have more than 900 corporate, non-profit, educational, and financial institution members. For these members, NSTXL offers opportunities to bid on government contracts, education and training, and live/virtual forums on a wide variety of topics.

Job Description*
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Security Administrator II. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the security infrastructure of our organization. In this position you will be responsible for administering and maintaining access security systems. Investigates security incidents and manages access problems. Performs analysis, risk assessment, and troubleshooting to improve security systems. Assists in the development of policies, standards, and procedures related to access security systems. Audits, reports on, and documents access security systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our security systems
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities promptly
- Perform regular access reviews to ensure adherence to security policies
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
- Conduct regular security awareness training for employees
- Lead and collaborate with the Insider Threat Working Group to investigate and resolve security incidents
- Provide timely and accurate monthly reports on security incidents and trends
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Conduct periodic security assessments and audits
- Manage and maintain security clearances for personnel
- Facilitate the clearance process and ensure compliance with government regulations
- Performing vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying and defending against threats, and developing disaster recovery plans
- Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements
- Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior
- Creating network policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction
- Train staff to understand and use security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of Security Administrator experience
- Active security clearance, minimum of Secret
- Facility Security Officer (FSO or AFSO) designation
