Responsibilities:
- Types reports for medical legal evaluations, letters to patients, and other business letters. The Medical Legal Reports are in part dictated by Doctor R. and partly copied from other medical legal reports and documents.
- Answers the telephone. Most calls are from patients requesting appointments. Other interactions on the phone are within insurance companies and attorneys.
- On few occasion answers the office door to allow copy services to reproduce medical records.
- Once a month patients billing and addresses envelopes to third party payers.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled or college graduate, preferably UC Berkeley student or graduate.
- No prior experience in this particular filed required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
