SalaryESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Answers routine telephone inquiries regarding department programs and procedures
- Takes messages and routes other telephone calls
- Process and maintains student files
- Data entry MySped, SEAS, e-School, and Indistar
- Special Education conference scheduling – making sure all conference attendees are notified (Special Education Teacher, General Ed Teacher, Building Level Administration, Parents, or Rescheduling when necessary)
- Medicaid billing management, claim processing, and audit reviews
- Folder reviews for due process compliance for IDEA
- Request student medical records
- Send SSI Disability requests
- Send and request student Special Education records
- Provide records and support for Special Education staff and parents
- Maintain proper procedures for purchasing and purchase order processing
- Attend professional development as needed
- Daily attendance and punctuality are required for the purpose of ensuring the goasl of the work unit can be met
- Display professionalism in appearance, attitude, and actions
- Conduct folder reviews
