ABOUT THE ROLE
The Seasonal VIP Hospitality Manager, Special Events, is a strategic, hands-on role that oversees and executes all VIP seating and ticketing for the Tribeca Festival's most premium events. This position works closely with internal Tribeca leadership and department heads, as well as studio and talent reps on all seating and ticketing needs for invited guests. The role also coordinates directly with the venue and ticketing platform on the placement and distribution of all VIP tickets for VIP guests.

Our ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented with excellent follow-up and communication skills. The role requires a deep understanding of live event logistics and hospitality; the ability to manage and track requests and needs from multiple stakeholders; and the willingness to creatively problem-solve in a fast paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as main point person on all VIP ticketing and seating for Tribeca "gala" events, typically totaling 300-500 seats at 5-7 events during the Festival
- Become familiar with third-party ticketing system and act as the primary contact between internal Tribeca departments and external venue(s) team on all matters related to VIP-ticketing
- Work with Tribeca Operations team to set all ticket allocations for "gala" events
- Develop a process to communicate ticket allocations to internal teams; collect RSVPs and distribute tickets via third-party system to all groups
- Track seating needs, prioritize requests and make informed seating decisions for VIP guests
- Liaise with outside film and talent teams on ticket allocations and distribute tickets accordingly
- Clearly communicate with stakeholders on deadlines, processes, and ticket distribution to ensure smooth house load-in at events
- Be present onsite to troubleshoot any VIP ticketing issues alongside venue box office team
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of events, high-level ticketing and/or hospitality experience
- Strong project management skills, great organizational abilities, and close attention to detail are critical
- Ability to interface with executives and outside partners and communicate in a clear, professional manner
- Experience handling high-level customers, VIPs, talent, or clients
- Ability to learn and navigate ticketing portal for seat assignments and ticket distribution
- Knowledge of film, television, and music industries is helpful, but not required
SALARY: $1,500 - $1,650/week
