MBuy, a division of Mediaocean, is looking for a Performance Marketing & Search Manager. This dynamic role will work across a diversified portfolio of clients and will focus on strategy, activation and optimization of their paid search/search engine marketing campaigns. Reporting to the VP of Performance Marketing, you will work closely with your MBuy teammates and client partners to provide planning, buying, and optimization recommendations for all of your key accounts. You will oversee many of the day-to-day tactical responsibilities spanning reporting, asset creation, asset trafficking, quality assurance, and ad hoc duties. In addition to providing clients with day-to-day operational duties, the Performance Marketing & Search Manager works cross-functionally with Data Science and Business Development at MBuy to ensure successful delivery of projects and campaigns.
What You Will Do:
- Directs and manages the operational work flow of client accounts across Google and Microsoft platforms, including activation, management, optimization and reporting of campaigns
- Accountable for ownership of reporting deliverables and presentation, inclusive of pulling and collating of data from all pertinent platforms
- Lead the translation and communication of data into insights/narratives, recommendations, and results
- Mentor junior team members in applying best practices to identify enhancements to current systems and processes
- Establish client-specific paid search objectives, strategies, budget estimates
- Create, implement, optimize, and analyze campaigns for all assigned accounts, including keywords, creative, targeting, bid strategies and management, landing page strategies, and competitive analyses
- Recommend and implement best practices in program management
- Work directly in platforms, most notably Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, third party platforms, and other ancillary tools
- Collaborate with Marketing to help develop search case studies and contribute to MBuy thought leadership with blogs, whitepapers, and webinars
- Work with Data Science and Product team to manage search within the EMP, where applicable
- Stay on top of search, media, and customer buying trends
and insights
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of media experience across planning, buying and optimization
- Proven presentation skills - ready to work directly with our clients and speak to them about their campaigns with confidence
- Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills
- Demonstrated proficiency working in MS Excel, MS Power Point (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, complex calculations, etc)
- Experience with search tools and bid management platforms
- Proven leadership ability across internal and external contacts
- Rigorously detail-oriented, quality-driven, analytically-minded
- Works well in collaborative team environment
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn the ins and outs of the media and advertising world, with a deep interest in all things search-related
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a timely manner and with accuracy
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field require
