DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for building complex web and desktop applications for Cloud and Virtual Server Infrastructure environments. Assist in the management of risks, dependencies, roadblocks and also track and escalate impediments. Help the team follow Scrum and Kanban processes, manage Agile Stories and Epics, and leverage JIRA reporting tools to help measure the team's Agile maturity and drive the team toward data-driven improvements. Remove impediments and dependencies of engineering tasks on other IT functions within the organization to ensure the application engineering team moves forward on goals with agility and ownership. Increase the efficiency of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes. Responsible for the end to end for Jira Tool administration and Project tracking. Prepare roadmaps in Jira to track project progress. Create dashboards in Jira for Development and Leadership Teams. Maintain backlog, Iteration plans and publish Jira reports to ensure product owner is updated about team's progress. Managing Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions across the enterprise level, including coordination between multiple teams Development and IT Support staff to create roadmap and action plan. Promote Continuous Delivery Pipeline, including Built-in Quality and the Lean User Experience (UX) innovation cycle. Help coordinate releases and plan additional activities and milestones needed to deliver the solution, so it meets the definition of done (DoD).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Scrum Master, Project Manager, Software Engineer, Agile Coach, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Scrum Master, Project Manager, Software Engineer, Agile Coach, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Project Management experience in Software development; Scum Master Experience in large teams; SAP; AWS Cloud; RPA; C; C++; Java; JavaScript; HTML; Project Management including Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, MS Project, and MS Visio; Confluence; SharePoint; and Teams, Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Must have obtained the following certifications: SAFe 4 Agilist, Scrum Master, PRINCE2, UiPath and SAP.
Job Location: 600 Travis Street, Houston, TX 77002. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
