About the Role
The Scientist I is responsible for method development, method validation, analysis of samples, and generation of data and other applicable documentation.
Essential Duties and Tasks:
- Develops and validates methods in accordance with procedures, regulations, and guidelines
- Analyzes samples and generates data and reports in accordance with procedures, regulations, and guidelines
- Maintains and evaluates laboratory equipment, including troubleshooting and repair of LCMS/MS and GC-MS/MS analyzers
- Prepares test methods and other laboratory equipment procedures
- Provides quality control review of data and reports generated by other personnel
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) with 0-2 years work experience or a Bachelors degree in a physical, biological, or chemistry science or related field with 2-3 years of work experience
- Work experience in a regulated bioanalytical and/or chemistry laboratory
Preferred Qualifications (Please address in cover letter or resume):
- Experience in LC-MS/MS analysis
- Experience in mass spectrometry
- Experience working in a CRO (Contract Research Organization)
- Familiarity with GMP and GLP standards
- Familiarity with ALCOA+ documentation practices
