Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with the local school district, is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated School Nurse for a full-time position during the 2023-2024 school year. As a vital member of the school community, the School Nurse plays a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct health care services to students, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency care.
- Conduct health assessments and screenings to ensure the well-being of students.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to address health concerns and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
- Participate in health education programs to promote a healthy school environment.
- Respond to health-related emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (LPN) with a valid state license
- Certification in School Nursing is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and administrators.
- Knowledge of relevant health laws and regulations.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
