LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE FULL-TIME POSITION AT THE RAYMOND SCHOOL DISTRICT.
This position is part of the Raymond Educational Support Staff union. Starting pay is $16.25 per hour through $21.50 per hour per the Collective Bargaining Agreement. This is a 6.5 hr per day position which starts August of 2023. GENERAL SUMMARY: To perform direct and indirect nursing care for students guided by the nursing standards of the New Hampshire Board of Nursing under the supervision of the registered nurses in the District.

QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED):
- Board certified graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Current LPN, RN or ARNP licensure by the State of New Hampshire
- Current certificate in Healthcare Provider level for CPR and First Aid
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide first aid and monitor vital signs of students, as needed
- Skill to administer medications
- Collecting data and conducting focused nursing assessments of the health status of stable students
- Planning nursing care for students with stable conditions
- Maintain safe and appropriate nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
- Communicate and collaborate with the RN
- Promote a safe and therapeutic environment
- Participate in health teaching and counseling to promote, attain, and maintain the optimum health level of the student for his or her diagnosis
- Filing of health information into the students health files
- Ability to perform data entry of student information into the SNAP program
- Assist with student screenings (vision and hearing, and vitals)
- Uphold regulations and laws related to confidentiality, reporting of child abuse and neglect, and other health-related requirements under HIPAA and FERPA
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs other related duties as requested by principal and registered nurse
