Redwood Day Head Nurse

Position: (1099 Contractor)

Payment: $150/hour at 3 hours a week

Responsibilities:

-- Training and gathering/processing forms, team meetings. One extra day in October and One extra day in May for IWAS reporting.

-- Create and ensure student emergency medical plans

-- Staff training (CPR, First Aid, Emergency Action Plans, Etc.)

-- Educate students on hand washing, germs and other health care and safety issues

-- Examine and authenticate vaccination records

-- Contact parents and teachers with any medical emergency

-- Maintain files on each student’s health and medical history in compliance with ISBE

Skills:

-- Effective communication with staff, students, parents

-- Bachelor of Nursing required

-- Experience at a school or in an educational environment

-- Organization skills

-- Able to establish rapport with student, staff, and parents

Job Types: Contract, Part-time

Salary: $150.00 per hour
