Scheduler - Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery

Chief Purpose of the Position
The Scheduler will be part of VCU Dental Care’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. Responsible for schedule coordination and management to exceptional customer service delivery. Assisting patients with appointment coordination.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required

• Must possess working knowledge of dental terminology
• Superior telephone etiquette skills required
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
• Working knowledge of advanced computer and data entry skills required

Education level and experience required

• High School graduate or equivalent
• College education preferred or equivalent applicable training or experience
• Experience in a dental/medical field required
• Dental background preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows & Office
• Ability to work in a diverse environment is required
• Experience in dental practice management software, preferably axiUm strongly preferred.

Hiring Range: Commensurate with experience

Background Check required.
