Sca Material Coordinator

Job Description
The Material Coordinator will support various aspects of Supply Chain Management, including shipping, receiving, procurement, export, transportation, warehousing, data entry, etc. In addition, the selected candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift and pallet jack, performing warehouse transactions, and assisting with receipt and shipment of COMSEC equipment.
Duties for this position include physical exertion such as lifting (no more than 40lbs), stooping, standing, bending, squatting, reaching and climbing ladders. The selected candidate will be required to wear approved safety shoes at all times plus other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
The hourly rate for this position is set by the Dept of Labor and is not negotiable. Current rate is $23.28.
This position is located in Spring Lake, NC. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Spring Lake or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School diploma and at least 2 years of experience in receiving, shipping, and inventorying warehoused material
Experience with MS Office applications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to exert physical energy (lift no more than 40lbs)
Experience using small hand tools
Experience in forklift operation, pallet jack
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with handling COMSEC material
Understanding of a DD1149
Experience crating or uncrating large shipments
Warehouse experience in a DoD contractor environment
Experience with database entry
Pay Information
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
