BITS is a growing software development company in Washington DC area. We provide database solutions, application development, infrastructure supports, network engineering, and high-end computing using innovative technologies to the health agencies. We are looking for a SAS and Tableau Administrator for one of our FEDERAL projects.
Job Description:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining SAS software and solutions.
- Setting up SAS environments for optimal operation, including configuring libraries, setting up users, and ensuring proper integration with other systems and databases.
- Monitoring system performance, conducting regular system maintenance, and tuning the SAS environment to ensure efficient operation.
- Applying updates, hotfixes, and upgrades to the SAS system as needed.
- Managing user access and permissions within the SAS environment to ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Implementing security measures, including encryption and authentication, to protect sensitive information.
- Assisting in data management tasks, including data loading, data quality, and managing data access.
- Working closely with database administrators to ensure that data sources are correctly integrated and accessible within the SAS environment.
- Collaborating with IT and business units to understand their analytical needs and ensure the SAS platform meets those needs.
- Consulting on SAS best practices, helping to design and implement effective SAS solutions that support organizational objectives.
- Managing the Tableau Server or Tableau Online environments, ensuring that the platform is secure, efficient, and accessible to users across an organization.
- Proficiency in installing Tableau Server on various operating systems.
- Knowledge of configuring Tableau Server settings to optimize performance, including setting up projects, groups, and permissions for user access control.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, science, technology, engineering or math or related field with a minimum of eight (7) years’ experience.

Pay: $145,000.00 per year
