Senior Tableau Administrator

Client First Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Tableau Administrator who will work on-site with our client in DC and will monitor, maintain and optimize the client’s Tableau implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor Tableau Server Health (CPU, Memory, and hard disk space usage)

• Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues and enhancement opportunities

• Support ad hoc dashboard and report development requests

• Develop scripts for Tableau Server Installations

• Adding additional Nodes on Tableau Server

• Perform Tableau administration tasks including:

o Develop scripts for Tableau Server Installations, Enabling restricted data for particular users (Row level security and User filters).

o Adding additional nodes on Tableau Server

o Run cleanup and create database backups

o Perform performance tuning for Tableau server

o Develop Scripts for Tableau Server backup Automation

o Deployment for Users on Tableau Server Production

o Tableau System Upgrades

o Monitoring extracts usage

o Schedule, publish shared data connections

o Schedule dashboard refreshes

Qualifications:

• 7+ yrs relevant experience in Tableau administration

• 2+ yrs relevant experience in dashboard/report development

• Must be able to generate crosswalk documents

• Experience in a customer–facing role, including comprehending business needs, solving complex problems, and capturing business requirements to convert them into technical requirements

• Experience with Agile delivery programs

• Must be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy with cross-functional teams

• Excellent documentations skills and ability to produce detailed system documentation

Desired qualifications:

• Tableau Server Certified Associate

• Experience with PowerBI (Administration / Development)

• Experience with tableau migrations (on premise to AWS / Azure)

Clearance: The ability to pass a VA Moderate Background Investigation (MBI)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,054.21 - $144,046.78 per year
