JOB SUMMARY: Perform Software Quality Assurance (SQA) testing activities on Multiplan's Finance systems to ensure that said system meets requirements and functions correctly.
The incumbent works under limited supervision and relies on judgment and experience to complete job responsibilities. Work is varied and fairly complex, with more complex issues referred to a higher level. The incumbent strives to continuously improve service delivery according to industry standard quality management guidelines and principles and analyzes products based on company guidelines.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for Multiplan FINAPPS Application to create corresponding test plans, and test cases. List of applications includes SAP Ariba, SAP S4 Hana as it relates to Finance, AR and AP, SAP Analytics.
- Execute SQA testing and retain test evidences for audits for MultiPlan applications in accordance with project documentation and aligned with company standards.
- Perform back-end (database) testing using SQL queries on SQL and Oracle Server databases. Perform regression and integration testing.
- Perform front-end (functional) testing of Web and GUI applications.
- Analyze test results. Log defects in JIRA. Partner with project team members on the resolution and re-testing of identified defects and issues.
- Testing experience in SOX audited applications is a bonus.
- Prepare reports of defects, test results, etc., through JIRA.
- Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $100-110K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
- 5-8 years' experience performing Software Quality Assurance testing
- Experience testing SAP Ariba, SAP S4 Hana as it relates to Finance, AR and AP, SAP Analytics.
- Must have worked in a test lead capacity preparing and owning the testing deliverables and/ or mentoring other junior testers.
- Knowledge of health care industry, background in finance and/or financial system is a plus
- Knowledge of Great Plains, DocLink, LongView, BP Logix is a plus
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools - Jira, HP ALM
- Experience in Test Status reporting - defect status, percentage of testing completion status, test closure reports etc.
- Experience testing in audited applications to answer audit questions is a plus
- Certifications (ASTQB or ISTQ certification) is a bonus
- Knowledge and experience in both agile and SDLC processes
- Good communication (verbal, written and listening), planning, organizing, analytical, project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Collaborating with different teams (BA, Dev etc.) for defect triage. Prioritizing defects as High/ Med/ Low. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
- Knowledge of Software QA automated test tools is a plus OR the ability to learn a new automated tool like ACCEL Q is a plus
- Ability to evaluate production issues and provide feedback
- Ability to write intermediate SQL and Oracle database queries.
