Job Overview: As a Sanitation Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of hygiene in various areas, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to the overall well-being of our organization. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks in designated areas, including production floors, restrooms, breakrooms, and office spaces.
Follow established sanitation procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Will be required to work in hot and cold environments.
Working with PPE based off area of cleaning (ability to wear required PPE)
Operate and maintain sanitation equipment.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when replenishment is needed.
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure efficient operations.
Identify and report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sanitation or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of sanitation procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Basic understanding of safety protocols and guidelines.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
