Salary.
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance and development of our Salesforce ecosystem. This person will work closely with the Commercial Operations team to develop and deploy new business processes including but not limited to: Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Deployment, Client Onboarding and Client Services. In this role, the successful candidate will be primarily focusedon Apex, automations, integrations and Flows but will also serve as administrator as needed. This role will focus 70% on development work, and 30% on administration work. This person will keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, participate in release management/regression testing and more. This person will be a part of our Commercial Systems team.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in maintaining and enhancing an ongoing Salesforce CRM implementation and building and developing efficient processes.
Your day to day role will include:
- Support Salesforce.com data feeds and other conversions, consolidations, and integrations with the marketing automation platform (Pardot), ServiceNow and other platforms as needed
- Complete regular internal system audits to ensure clean data and processes. Prepare for and regression test upgrades and releases
- Work independently and collaborate with others to deliver effective solutions to meet business requirements. The person in this role should be able to review, troubleshoot and fix currently existing solutions in our Salesforce org (including Flows and Apex)
- Working with product owner and business analysts to estimate scope of product backlog and meet deadlines
- Routinely testing the stability and functionality of the application, recommending performance improvements where possible
- Managing cases to troubleshoot and fix bugs as assigned, writing technical and functional specs and documenting solutions in ticketing system
- Maintaining the security and integrity of the application and abiding by R1 IT policies and procedures
You Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Computer Sciences.

- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
- Prefer 2-5 years’ experience working in Salesforce, with strong Flow, Apex, automation and org development skills.
- Understanding of the Lightning platform, with the ability to configure custom apps and objects, formula fields, flows, and custom views. Commitment to configure first, code only when required.
- Technical knowledge in these areas preferred:
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
- Lightning components – LWC
- Apex, JavaScript, HTML, Visualforce, CSS, XML, JSON
- SOSL, SOQL, SQL
- API (REST, Bulk)
- Standard Workflows, Triggers, Flows, Process builder (along with a good understanding of which is appropriate solution for the problem)
- Good understanding of Governor limits and bulkifying code when needed
- Salesforce Architecture experience – understanding of best practices, documentation
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required, additional certifications are preferred such as Platform Developer 1
- MS Office skills
It would be great if you also have:
- Project management experience, preferably Agile methodology
- Experience with Conga or other CLM
- Experience with Snowflake, DataLake, Power BI
- Experience with Aprika Mission Control
- Experience with integrated MAP platform (Pardot, Hubspot)
- Experience with VS Code and use of Salesforce CLI
- Experience with Gearset (or other DevOps tool)
- Integration experience
- Healthcare operations or software experience
