Job Summary
Encore Labs AZ is looking for a rockstar sales account manager to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ who ideally worked previously in cannabis or lab testing industry. The Account Manager will be responsible for active B2B outreach, focused on generating business opportunities with prospective clients in need of cannabis product testing, including compliance + R&D testing (potency, pesticides, terpenes, solvents, etc.). The Account manager will source and qualify leads, build rapport, and cultivate solid business relationships with customers & close business through outreach, networking, and services tailored to their needs.
Top sales reps/account managers can easily clear $100k OTE after commissions.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Source, build and maintain business development sources for lead generation.
- Actively contacting and regularly visiting/ meeting with existing and prospective clients.
- Move clients through sales cycle: cold calling, generating, and qualifying leads, setting appointments, presenting service packages, service demos, facility tours, and closing the deal.
- Develop, foster, and maintain solid relationship with customers and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and navigating challenges with a results-oriented mindset.
- Track and document sales activities, calls, orders sales, and customer relationship data in assigned software platform.
- Traveling within assigned territory to meet with potential or existing clients one-on-one.
- Attend industry events, conventions, and networking events to provide company brand presence and establish industry relationships.
- Researching industry market conditions and competitor pricing, products, and services.
- Collect invoices from clients and coordinate payment.
- Pick up client samples as needed.
Required Skills/ Abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Highly motivated and results driven.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills.
- Comfort and ability to work autonomously and confidently make decisions/ problem solve.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, customer relationship management software, and other organizational platforms.
Education and Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 3-5+ years of sales and customer service experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
- Cannabis industry/Lab testing experience strongly preferred
